P800 GTR Owners! Announcing the Switzer R1K Upgrade Program.

P800 GTR owners! The time is now to turn your GTR into an R1K!

For a limited time only, Switzer Performance is offering a P800-to-R1K upgrade program that will transform your GTR from the potent 800HP street machine it is now into a lethal 1000HP street WEAPON!

The price? SPI is crediting full retail for your existing P800 components toward the purchase of the R1K package. Even better than that, SPI will pay for the enclosed transport of your GTR to their facility in Ohio as well as the delivery to you when it is finished if you are located in the continental US. Alternate fuel tuning is available as well. Contact Switzer Performance Innovation for more information.

Corn-fed Godzilla Breaks into the 9's

LAUNCH IN 3 ... 2 ...

I wrote about the how a Switzer R1K set the mph-in-a-1/4-mile record last week, but the R1K wasn't the only high-powered Switzer GTR in attendance at Norwalk.

Switzer's eco-conscious E900 GTR Nissan showed up to play, too (minus Amuse wing) and did not disappoint - blasting across the 1/4 mile mark at over 144 mph in just 9.8 seconds!

Video, below.

"GREEN" MEANS "GO!"

I'm not sure what the overall 1/4 mile records for et and mph on E85 are, but if Switzer's E900 isn't the fastest corn-burning GTR PKG available, it can't be too far off.

Switzer 997 v. Cobb GTR (w/ 5Zigen)

Another clip from Mike the mad Russian, this time his Switzer-tuned 997 TT takes on another car very near dear to our hearts: Nissan's R35 GTR.

Keep in mind, this is no ordinary GTR - equipped, as it is, with a stage 2 Cobb tune and a 5Zigen catless exhaust system (but it's not a P800, either). Street launches are usually inconsistent, which would seem to give the GTR a slight edge off the line - but once the speed builds, well ... you'll see.

Enjoy!
